VIDEO PRODUCTION No matter the event - concerts, plays, recitals, lectures, seminars or virtually anything else - Flux Audio/Video's Video Production Service provides an affordable way to preserve the event that complements traditional still photographs. We have adopted a low-profile, unobtrusive style of videography that enables us to capture the events while blending into the surroundings - your assurance that attention remains focused on the event and not the video crew.
Our small, but effective, remote production system includes a pair of professional camcorders (one a Canon Hi-Def camera recording to flash memory for uninterrupted coverage; the other a Panasonic 3CCD MiniDV camera) on Bogen tripods, a Videonics mixer for live switching, a Panasonic pro DVD-R recorder, and a pro video monitor. Also available, as needed: A Nady 4-channel wireless lavalier microphone system, a 3-point lighting system with a variety of gels, a monopod, a Steadicam, 2 more cameras for additional coverage (one MiniDV, one Digital-8), and a small 24-bit audio recorder with 4 built-in microphones for separate audio recording in stereo (up to 96 kHz sampling rate) or 4-channel surround (up to 48kHz sampling rate).
After the shoot, we can also take care of all the editing, titling, sound mixing and DVD authoring (Blu-Ray on the way!), complete with full, custom-designed menus and professionally-mastered Dolby Digital and/or dts 5.1-channel soundtracks. Our Sony Digital Video Workstation features software by Sony, Adobe, Minnetonka, Waves, Diamond Cut, Steinberg, Focusrite, SSL, Antares, and Bias, among many others.
SHORT-RUN DVD-R DUPLICATION Whether you need 1, 100 or up to 300 copies, our short-run DVD-R duplication service is the way to go. Our duplication system can handle a wide range of DVD formats from any region (0-8) including DVD-Video, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVD-RAM with capacities up to 4.7GB (single layer) or 8.4GB (dual layer), making it the ideal choice for advance promotion, limited release or distributing software on a limited basis.
All our duplication packages also feature full-colour direct-on-disc printing (no sticky, paper labels). Plus, we can also do the paper printing - both regular and slimline DVD keepcases - also in full colour. Whether submitted in finished form in virtually any format or created from scratch in-house, we'll get the graphics just right (with all the necessary logos) and even stuff the artwork into the boxes!
TRANSFERS If you're looking for the perfect gift for ANY occasion, look no further. Let us create a video montage from your photographs and/or slides in any combination or sequence - regardless of size, shape or age - complete with the music of your choice on the soundtrack. Each photo/slide is displayed on screen for about six seconds before dissolving into the next, with custom-designed titles at the beginning and/or end of the video - the perfect spot for personal messages to the recipient. Take it from us, our montage videos are a guaranteed hit and a great way to preserve priceless memories.
We also provide a transfer service for 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm home movies (silent or sound). Each film is transferred to our Sony Digital Video Workstation using our own proprietary technique in chronological order, if possible. Then, after any necessary hard-disk-based editing, colour correction or other repair, we can add a title at the front of the video (i. e. "Smith Family Home Movies 1952-1970") and/or music from the era in the genre of your choice (pop, rock, country, jazz, etc.) before creating the final DVD.
